A fireball swept over Singapore on the night of May 24, resembling a "bright burning flash," according to mothership.
Eyewitnesses managed to capture the meteor's flight in photos and videos. The fireball was observed at about 23:47 local time.
According to one of the Facebook users Priyanka Vijaya, who managed to capture this phenomenon on camera, she initially planned to record a video of the full moon, "because it looked really beautiful," but then saw a bright flash.
"I was just lucky enough to capture a meteor on camera — it took me by surprise!" she said.
A fireball, also known as a fireball, is a meteor large enough to be seen over a wide area.
