In the Bryansk region, a karst sinkhole swallowed up half a house

On Friday, October 16, in the village. Vyshkov (zlynkovsky district, Bryansk region) residential building almost fell to the ground. At the site on Leninskaya street about four o'clock in the morning, the ground suddenly collapsed, the diameter of the hole formed was about ten meters, and the depth was seven.

The incident affected a residential one-story building, almost half of which immediately collapsed.

Rescue teams, search engines, and representatives of the district administration went to the sinkhole. Upon arrival, the specialists immediately began to dismantle the rubble, delivered and used special equipment in the amount of twelve cars.

The sinkhole turned out to be wooden structures of a private house. Under them, unfortunately, a 70-year-old woman died — she decided to visit the already collapsed building to pull out documents, and was crushed. The other occupant of the house was not injured.
