Many residents of Youngstown, nestled in Ohio, the United States, faced with strange raccoons that behave like a zombie (see video below).

Police Department over the past few weeks received more than a dozen calls from frightened citizens describing the unusual behavior of the creatures. According to eyewitnesses, the raccoons are on their hind legs, grinning, and then fall to the ground, where lie motionless for a while, before again repeating his mysterious maneuvers.

One of the locals who observed firsthand the strange things told, I've never seen a raccoon with such "very strange behaviour".

"He stood on his hind legs and showed its teeth, and then fell backwards and almost went into a coma," said Robert Coggshall.

Even more strange is the fact that these incidents occurred in the daytime, which is unusual for creatures of the night, besides the daily loud sounds usually scare the raccoons, apparently, they ceased to worry.

It was suggested that raccoons were infected with rabies, but the Department of natural resources Ohio think that's unlikely. Based on the testimony of the witnesses, the experts came to the conclusion that it is likely the disease known as distemper. And, although people can't catch this disease, they warn pet owners to be careful.
