This meteorite flew over the south of the Iberian Peninsula in 2021 on December 5, at approximately 0:07 Spanish local time. It crashed into the atmosphere at a speed of about 100,000 km/h.

It started at an altitude of about 105 km above the southwest of the province of Badajoz (Spain), moved to the northwest and ended at an altitude of about 60 km above the east of the Alentejo region (Portugal).
