Binocular comet C/2018 Y1 (Iwamoto) on 6 February, reached closest to the Sun point of the orbit, located between the Earth and Mars, then on February 13 as close to the Ground, and February 14, flew in front of spiral galaxy approximately the same brightness of NGC 2903.

Presents timelapse video was recorded last Thursday from Switzerland. Three hours of filming was compressed to ten seconds. At that time, the comet Iwamoto with its green coma was at a distance of 10 light minutes from our planet, and spiral galaxy NGC 2903 has remained at about 30 million light-years. On the third second of the video you can notice how right diagonally carried by two satellites.

Comet Iwamoto was discovered at the end of 2018. It revolves around the Sun in elliptical orbit and last visited the inner Solar system in the Middle ages, about the year 648.
