A sinkhole has closed a popular park in Westchester County.
"I used to run there. My wife works there, and we let our dogs run there, and also go hiking on the paths behind the park, so we use it quite often," said resident Mark Eckersdorf. "They do many sports there, but in winter it's pretty deserted."
On Christmas Eve, the police were alerted to the discovery of a hole in the ground about 9 meters deep and 3 meters wide.
