Most of the people loves to tickle your nerves a clue to unexplained events. They like to speculate and puzzle over various items, to link them into a single logical chain, and feel a kind of Pinkerton, which is subject to a simple explanation to any situation. Often these events become the basis for the thrillers and horror films in which their creators to give free rein to their imagination in order to stir the audience, to make them afraid for a little while to feel like small children afraid of the dark. However, there are still many things, it is not amenable neither sound logic nor the laws of physics. And Mansion Summerwind — the clearest example of this.

The story of Summerwind, again from Wisconsin, considered the most cursed on the planet, began in 1916, when it was purchased by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Robert Lamont. This man, seeking a suitable place for the rest of his family, a beautiful and well maintained Summerwind, in the side of the other settlements, it seemed the best option. However, when Lamont it eventually acquired, the house was not at all the cozy nest, as he had imagined. Something dark and otherworldly was obviously hiding inside the walls of Summerwind. In 15 years of owning this house, the whole family Lemontov that come only with the rest, have repeatedly been witness to many strange events. They had seen some flying in the air objects flickering at the corners and the ceiling shadows and heard strange voices.

The limit of this came during a regular dinner. Lamont sat in the kitchen and was eating when itself opened the door to the basement and there seemed a stranger. At first, the Minister took him for an ordinary intruder, so I quickly grabbed the gun and shot twice at him. However, he soon realized that his bullets did not bring the stranger no harm, because he was a Ghost. Robert and his wife quickly ran out of the house and never came back, and two bullet holes from shots of Lamont, remaining in the wall of the house, became a warning for anyone who would like to get into it.

Some decades Summerwind stood completely abandoned, while in 1940 it was bought by the family of Kythira. Being aware of the events that happened in this seemingly charming house, Kythira did not dare to live in it. Moreover, according to the recollections of many witnesses, they never even crossed the threshold, preferring to take Summerwind in rent during summer vacation. The keys are the same guests of Kythira always handed out on the street.

After some time of Kythira also abandoned the estate, and Summerwind fell asleep almost 30 years.

In 1970 it was purchased by the couple Arnold and ginger Hinshaw, who is raising six children. Buying a house, its new owners immediately set to work, intending to return it to its former appearance. However, this intention has become a big problem because none of the contractors would not agree to work in Summerville. In the end, all big and noisy family, Hinshaw moved into the house, decided to repair own forces, and soon faced with their invisible neighbors. One day the head of the family had plastered the wall in one of the bedrooms and found a small hole.

Not being able to climb into it, he found nothing better than to send his youngest daughter Mary. When the girl got inside, then screamed in horror when he saw before him a pile of bones and a human skull with black locks of hair. And even after that, the couple, Hinshaw did not heed the voice of reason. They never told anyone about the incident, let it go, and continued repair, first carefully close up the hole. However, this does not save their family from surging at her with horror. Very soon they began to feel that the house is someone else, and for them is carefully monitored. Themselves opened and closed doors and Windows, the corners were moving ghostly figures, heard a dull murmur and steps on the ceiling. But worst of all was the constant appearance of a certain black-haired Ghost lady, whose skull with the hair then, is most likely found. Arnold Henshaw stopped sleeping and began to slowly go crazy, scaring her behavior all family members. Six months later, Hinshaw gave up and hastily left Summerwind.

This time, the manor has been empty for long. After just a few weeks of enterprising Raymond beaver who happens to be the father of ginger Hinshaw, despite all the stories and entreaties of his daughter, decided to turn Summerwind in the restaurant and hotel. As well as his son-in-law Arnold, Raymond Bober has attempted to start the construction, but the contractors hired for these purposes in other States and unfamiliar with the history of the house, immediately began to complain that they began to disappear tools, and did this strange building was brought into inexplicable horror. When they started to visit the ghosts and disembodied voices, the workers simply fled. After some time he and Raymond are faced with yet another poltergeist.

In the kitchen, hearing two gun shots, he rushed into the room, but no one there caught. The only thing he saw were the bullet holes made by Robert Lamont more than half a century ago. Then the beaver went out and never came back.

As legend has it, that the estate belonged to one Jonathan Carver, and that the most terrible secret of the house was imprisoned in the basement of which meet the Minister Lamont left the phantom stranger. However, they searched the cellar of Summerwind, it didn't show up, except for a different vintage of rubbish, rats and cobwebs.

Abandoning their plans in 1986 Robert beaver sold the estate to three investors, naively intending to turn Summerwind in tidbit for resale. However, the house decided to do things his own way- just two years later during a storm the building several times struck by lightning, the terrible and the estate was destroyed by fire. Left only the debris of fireplaces, stone staircases and Foundation. But they still inspire random passers-by awe and horror.
