Late in the evening on Wednesday, November 10, a fireball was seen in the sky of Salento, which flew leaving a trail, and then exploded, followed by a loud roar.

The phenomenon lasted about twenty seconds, and it could be observed throughout the southern part of Puglia around seven o'clock in the evening. The webcam of the city of Ortelle (Lecce) captured the moment of the passage of a fireball across the sky. A lot of messages from people who noticed the meteorite appeared on social networks.
