On July 25, a large fireball lit up the night sky in the south-east of Norway, which produced unusually powerful flashes. A group of experts is looking for a meteorite, it fell in a forest near the capital Oslo, reports BBC News.
The passage of the meteor was accompanied by loud explosions and shaking of the air. The police received a lot of calls from alarmed people.
According to the Norwegian Meteor Network, the fireball glowed for 5 seconds, it swept across the sky around 01: 00 local time and was visible over most of southern Scandinavia.
