Last Sunday evening, February 23, Danish photographer Ruslan Merzlyakov was driving home when one of the sections of the path were flooded.
"Because of record rainfall this month is the road by the river Uggerby turned into a huge sea, stretching to the beach," said Merzlyakov.
He stopped and suddenly noticed on the horizon is magic.
"I'm so glad I was able to capture this beauty, though there was water. Thirty-second exposure showed the milky Way, dancing auroras group, and an unreal red glow of the atmosphere."
The flooded path and digger looked photogenic, under the feet of stars were reflected, and the multi-colored sky. It was a beautiful night. Thanks to the new moon was visible weak atmospheric glow, and the Earth's magnetic field has opened a small crack that let the solar wind, which ignited the polar lights.
