Residents of Japan observed a bright meteorite in the sky

Over the eastern part of Japan on the evening of October 10, a bright meteorite appeared in the sky for a few seconds. The flight of the celestial body was visible from different points of the country.

The unusual celestial phenomenon is reported by TASS, referring to the Japanese media. The Network has footage of the rapid flight of the glowing sphere, taken from different angles in different parts of the country. Before disappearing, the meteorite flashed brightly.

According to preliminary data, the object could move at a speed of about 50 kilometers per second. There was no information about the meteorite falling on the Earth's surface.
