A total solar eclipse will occur on December 4 this year, just two weeks after the partial lunar eclipse on November 19, according to The Watchers.
The eclipse can be observed from Antarctica and partly from South Africa and the southern Atlantic Ocean. The event will be unusual because the path of the total eclipse will move from east to west through West Antarctica. Most eclipse paths run from west to east
At 07:33 coordinated universal time, the moment of the greatest eclipse is expected.
The partial lunar eclipse, which on November 19 could be seen in America, Northern Europe, East Asia and Australia, was the last this year and the longest in more than 500 years.
