Professional snake catcher Grayson Getty from Arizona was watching a family of rattlesnakes from behind a Bush when he suddenly noticed one of the eleven reptiles curled up in a ball at a distance from their fellows and seemed strange to him. What was his surprise when, looking closely, he realized: this is a baby reptile with two heads.

Unfortunately, the snake turned out to be dead, and Getty believes it died shortly before he discovered it. Why this happened remains unknown.

"To be honest, when I pulled this two-headed "baby" out of the pit, I almost lost my mind, " zmeelov said in an interview with McClatchy News.

In addition, Getty noted that the body of the creature seemed to him quite large and disproportionate compared to the former nest brethren. The two-headed specimen was more than twice the size of an ordinary baby rattlesnake.

Recently, photographer Tom Sykes also managed to capture a rather unusual phenomenon from the life of reptiles. He captured a rattlesnake on a tree, whereas before their ability to climb the trunk was not confirmed.
