Initial data
A mysterious floating object that seemed to fly across the sky for several minutes made viewers think it could be a "UFO".
A bright light was seen in several areas of West Bengal, India, on Thursday (December 15), and footage was posted on Twitter showing a glowing object in the night sky.
Some local UFO enthusiasts claimed it was an alien ship, while others believed it was a satellite, with one local resident saying: "It's very close,” while another commented:
“Doesn't it look like a UFO? The light is gone."
Initially, officials were just as concerned and launched an investigation into what could have caused these phenomena.
However, it is currently believed that this light is the result of a missile test by the military from nearby Begal Bay.
Indian television reported that the object was probably an intercontinental ballistic missile known as the Agni-5, which is capable of speeds up to 3,100 miles per hour.
The media noted that the Indian military last tested the Agni-5 back in October 2021. This happened a few weeks after an inexplicable black ring was spotted in the sky over Sentosa, Singapore, in the evening, illuminating the city with a strange glow.
Commentators had a lot to say about the strange appearance, with suggestions that it was a UFO sighting. However, some found this theory too outlandish and suggested that there is a much more realistic idea - birds in migration mode.

Hypotheses
Booster, the rocket and tracks
For UFOs often take stages of rockets, parts of space ships burning in the atmosphere, the launches of various missile technology for military purposes, etc., and traces from them. They attract attention mostly in the dark, but in the day time have a greater aura of mystery.
Formation of the track of the launch vehicle occurs in the tropopause (the layer between the troposphere and stratosphere), which sharply reduced the vertical temperature gradient. The emergence of the so-called "jellyfish" influenced by water vapor, which are subject to enhanced condensation.
Investigation
It's really more like launching a rocket.
