On September 20, 1977, I stood watch on the bridge from 00-00 to 4-00. We were in the White Sea. At 4-15, I was still undressing, figuring out the situation, and suddenly a shout came from above: "Run upstairs! A sign!" And laughter. I quickly went out onto the bridge.

The starry sky, only clouds on the horizon. Directly above us, almost at the zenith, a bright "star" was moving - brighter than zero magnitude! Four clear beams trailed behind her.

The "star" was rapidly approaching the clouds on the horizon and finally went behind the cloud. And then I noticed that the bright "star" was followed by a second equally bright "star", but without rays!

And suddenly, when approaching the cloud, this second "star" lit up with a "halo" (white).

The first "star" came out below the cloud with the same rays and went to the horizon behind the clouds; the second "star" followed, but did not appear from behind the cloud anymore.

I watched all this for about 10 minutes. The man who replaced me at 4-00 says that at 4-10 he saw a bright "star" with rays moving across the sky. At the end of one, the lowest ray (in the light zone, four bright dots appeared.

Then these dots went to the side and disappeared, and a second, equally bright "star" separated from the luminous "star" with rays, but without rays, and followed a little higher and slightly behind...

I noticed it late, because I was watching the "star" with the rays without stopping at first.
