"End game" (eng. "End Game") – the 17th episode of the second season of the TV series "Secret materials", which continues the so-called "mythology" of the series, set in the pilot episode. It is a continuation of the episode "Colony".

In the depths of the cold waters of the Beaufort sea in the area North of the Arctic circle the crew of the submarine using the radar detects passing a number of huge unidentified object. The captain of the submarine receives orders to destroy the ship without further study. But before launching torpedoes a powerful blow to incapacitate the reactors of the ship.
Alien Hunter kidnaps Scully, to exchange her life for Samantha. Samantha warns Mulder that the Hunter can kill only accurate shot in the base of the skull and that his blood is poisonous.

Scully learns that the effect of the virus can weaken the lower temperature. Meanwhile, Mulder meets Man X, which tells about the American submarine that torpedoed the aircraft Hunter off the coast of Alaska, but she received serious damage. Mulder goes there, leaving Scully farewell letter. She asks Skinner to find out through "unofficial channels", where I went to Mulder, but he refuses to help her.
