A giant gray head flew over a park in Tokyo all day long

What was that? The short answer is just another day in Japan. In more detail — this is an action held by the Tokyo authorities in collaboration with the group of contemporary artists "Me" on the eve of the Olympic Games. The head was actually a balloon. It took about three years to create it.

The work is called "Masayume", it is inspired by a dream that one of the participants of "Me"had many years ago, back at school.

The appearance of a real person was used as a face for the floating head, but his identity is kept secret. In total, more than a thousand people from all over the world participated in the" casting " — among them were babies and those who have already turned 90 years old. The authors hope that their work will make people think about the coexistence of people.
