Bright object hovering in the sky during the opening ceremony of the Olympic games and adopted by many for the alien ship, was used for aerial photography blimp Goodyear.

After the appearance of the strange object over London, many began to say that the opening ceremony of the Olympics directed by Danny Boyle (Danny Boyle), the audience came not only from other countries but from other planets. A more simple explanation, however, was not long in coming, and as it turned out, actually in the skies over London were hovering airship Goodyear that broadcaster NBC is using for the filming of the Olympics from the air.

A lot of people took the Goodyear blimp for an alien ship

As explained in an interview with the Huffington Post, Manager of public relations, Goodyear Doug Grassian (Doug Grassian), "a blimp definitely was in the sky throughout the opening ceremony, conducting a survey for NBC".
