Monoliths continue to appear all over the world — this time in Sulzbach in Germany. This monument is made of wood and covered with metal plates.
A metal monument also appeared in the North-West of Spain in the municipality of Ayllon. It consists of three metal sheets.
The first monolith was found in the Utah desert, then monoliths appeared in California — North of Los Angeles, on the top of pine mountain, as well as in the Joshua Tree national Park. In Europe, the monoliths came from Piatra Neamt, in Romania, on the Isle of Wight in the UK and in the reserve "Kienberg" in the Netherlands. The most notable — gold — monolith was found in Colombia.
What are these objects? Most often, they remind eyewitnesses of props from the Stanley Kubrick movie "2001: a Space Odyssey". In the film, black monoliths influenced human evolution. It is also assumed that the monoliths are the creation of several artists and are an art project. In addition, the monuments resemble the shape of the column at the Qutb Minar monument in Delhi in India. It was established in the 4th century and is much larger than the monoliths that appear today: its height is 7 meters, and its weight is about 6 tons
