The recently discovered comet Swan (C/2020 F8) flies to the Ground and already well visible in small telescopes, and next month it will be visible to the naked eye. Gerald rieman has recently published the cosmic ladies, made in Namibia.
"The comet's tail — almost a full degree. It was an easy target for my 12-inch telescope", — said the photographer.
Scientists estimate that the comet was first sent to the Sun, and the solar gravity is likely to send her back into deep space. Comet Swan can be hyperbolic, that is, its orbit has an eccentricity greater than 1. Such comets come from the Oort Cloud or can even be interstellar.
Hyperbolic comets are fast and follow the open path. They can visit the Solar system once, and then forever disappear in interstellar space.
