One of the Russian startups announced the successful completion of tests of a project to create so-called "artificial constellations"in space. The development is based on laser technologies, it was implemented by the company Avant Space, TASS reports.

Equipment with a laser module was delivered to the stratospheric layers at an altitude of approximately 30 km to confirm the planned power level of the radiation sources.

The man-made constellation will become one of the brightest in the sky. Lasers are supposed to be used exclusively while the equipment is traveling over the megacities of the Earth.

Tracking the movement of artificial constellations will be possible through special software for gadgets. The SOFTWARE is still under development.

Initially, the project was developed as a tool for quickly notifying all residents of large cities about a global problem.
