Anyone who looked outside on Monday evening between 8 and 11 o'clock saw a strange light phenomenon over the Vezep: six light rays were directed at the same point. All the motionless light beams were directed at the sky from different parts of the Vezep.
After a tour of Wesep, it turned out that there were seven places where light beams were installed, namely: at the entrance gate of Selevit, at the WHC site, at Scheffer in Hattemerbroek, at BCA28, at Formido and at Coelenhage. The seventh ray of light was located at the Agnieten College on the Nordsingel in Wesep.
All the lights are aimed at the spot above Agnieten College. This is due to the fact that the school's new logo will be unveiled on Tuesday, as well as the fact that they are going to collaborate with Landstede.
On Monday afternoon, a team of technicians was working at various locations to install the equipment. The installation was eventually rejected because the traffic jam was turned off at Coelenhage; the remaining six floodlights were turned on until about 11 a.m.
