A geoglyph dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Lenin has been discovered

It is known that the memory of the great revolutionary Vladimir Ilyich Lenin for several generations was perpetuated not only by countless monuments, busts and other works of art, but even by a kind of landscape design.

Another example of this was recently discovered near the village of Bliznino (Kameshkovsky district, Vladimir region). Local historian Ilya Andreev managed to distinguish the huge phrase "Lenin is 100 years old", formed from coniferous plantings. They were sown in this form in 1968, and the inscription becomes readable in autumn, when the trees from which the letters are formed turn yellow.

Ilya Andreev said that the idea of creating such an unusual geoglyph at that time was put forward by Academician Kashirsky. The trees were planted on the eve of the anniversary of the Bolshevik leader.

The local historian saw a huge inscription on satellite photos, and then he took it himself with a drone.
