Initial data
Information from the eyewitness:
Outside were heard the hard blunt blow. No thunder or svkw fireworks, it sounded far away. Never heard such a Bang. In the afternoon there was a thunderstorm.
Perhaps there is no connection between the explosion and perception. Once in the backyard, I saw a small sfnr, slowly moving over the garden of the neighbor to the left, at a height of 10-15 meters. A small sphere with a diameter of about 15 cm in a second or two she flew with great speed toward the neighbors to the right, where I lost sight of it. The field was moving so fast that it looked like a beam of light of approximately 1.5 meters. I'm puzzled and have no idea what I saw.

Original news
Hypotheses
Ball lightning
A rare natural phenomenon, a unified physical theory of the origin and course of which has not been presented to date.
There are about 200 theories explaining the phenomenon, but none of them has received absolute recognition in the academic environment. Since this phenomenon was introduced into the scientific sphere by the English physician and researcher of electrical engineering William Snow Harris in 1843, and a scientist of the French Academy Francois Arago in 1855, many hypotheses were put forward. Here are selectively some of them:
