The footage, taken at night, shows a round-shaped glowing object flying above the clouds, and a few seconds later there is a flash. The Agency said that the phenomenon could be observed on the night of Sunday, November 29, in the Western and Central parts of Japan.

The Director of the planetarium in Hyogo Prefecture, Takeshi Inoue, said that this is a bolide, or shooting star.
