Byan Sykes, a specialist from the University of Oxford, studied the DNA of a Bigfoot and a polar bear. As a result, the genetic material was largely similar. It was based on the wool of a creature killed three decades ago in the Himalayas.
In the course of the analysis, it turned out that the creature that represents today's stuffed animal has the DNA of a polar bear that became extinct 40 millennia ago. Yeti can be a hybrid of brown and polar bears. The animals came in the past, most likely from the Arctic North. This explains the strange behavior and lifestyle in General.
Now the scientist is thinking about collecting samples of Yeti from around the world to determine the relationship of each species of Bigfoot with extinct animals.
Interestingly, samples of the alleged Bigfoot, discovered in 1976 and investigated by the FBI, turned out to be similar to the deer genome. This calls into question the veracity of research, both new and old. Perhaps the hunters did not find snowmen, but only the remains of animals.
Brian Sykes, Professor of human genetics at the University of Oxford, announced a worldwide call to collect samples of Bigfoot.
