A huge sinkhole opened up on a busy street in one of the largest cities of Japan Tuesday, November 8.
The sinkhole happened at around 5:15 a.m. local time in the centre of Fukuoka, the largest city on the island of Kyushu, in the metro area where there are more than 5 million people. By the end of the day, according to Japan Times, the funnel was 15 meters deep and 30 meters wide.
